The Wharfedale is a chunky roll-neck in the old country manner. The collar folds over generously and sits close against the cold, while deep ribbed cuffs and hem keep the shape clean. The fit is regular, with room to wear it under a jacket.
It is knitted in a substantial rib with real texture in the hand. Warm enough on its own on a dry autumn day, and the natural layer beneath a waxed-finish or quilted jacket when it is not.
